Ty modely rostou, pelechy také a přeprava je stále složitější

Jo. Byly časy kdy jsem do oktávky narval třímetrovku a ještě docela dost halovek, včetně soutěžního F3P. Nebo dva 2,25m akrobaty a nějaký eppčka na večer. Děsím se toho co přinese příští rok.

Hi Aaron and Erik! its easier to manage attachments here than in email. So, back to the covering. When you get parts from a laser cutter, they look like this:

First step is grinding(?) outer edges where something will be glued. you can use piece of soft sandpaper glued to epp foam for example. No need for grinding this Tcanaliser but you need to gind leading edge of the wing (where carbon strip will be glued), edges of vertical parts of fuselage which will be glued to horizontal parts of fuselage etc. Check my photos where CF strips are... Dont grind it too much, and be gentle. if something breaks dont worry. Just glue it back together and continue more gently.

You should do the grinding because laser cutter does not make the edge straight but rather U shape. The middle of foam is softer and melts more than the sufrace. And thats bad for strong glue joints...

Second step: put some thin both sided tape on bottom side of parts that will be cutted off. Mark the bottom of the wing, so you wont make two right wings for example.

third step: tape it on the sheet of paper and carefully cut out that part of plane.

you will need the template on paper later for airbrush spraying.

Use really sharp knife to cut edges where control surfaces will be hinged (on mylar covering). Rudder should be hinged on the opposite side than the side with mylar covering with clear tape. Than you can tape ailerons to the wing and elevator to the stabilizer from the bottom side! just to hold them together for covering. Make small (paper thick) gap between control sufraces and wing/stabilizer).

When youre done, you can prepare piece of mylar. I used big enought pieces for some large parts of plane, and filled the rest with smaller pieces of plane. This is much faster than using smaller pieces - one for every part of plane.

Before tapeing the mylar to the table, crumple it into a small ball couple of times.

Than i use 3M77 glue in spray. Spray thin layer of glue from about 1m distance to the single part and drop the part from about 1 inch distance to the mylar taped on the table. Than press it lightly with piece of foam to make sure it is glued everywhere.

Spray another part and drop it on mylar... You will need really sharp knife to cut all parts out, i use scalpels. Blades are cheap and really sharp.

Dál můžeme pokračovat zas česky, tohle byla jen vsuvka k emailové konverzaci, kde se blbě pracuje s fotkama. Jinak celý postup potahování je doufám dostatečně popsán v RCRevue 11/2016. Ale jakýkoliv dotazy rád zodpovím.

Pomalu začínám stavět z výřezů od HonzyS.
Vybavení: Glavak 2s/13", YEP7, GR-12SC HOTT, Spektrum A2020 (1x), Graupner DS-101,
accu zatím Dualsky 2s/150mAh.

Orientačně jsem zvážil serva s původnímy kablíky, případně i s pákou.
U vybraných A2020 a DS 101 budou kablíky nahrazeny mědí 0,2mm.

Další dvě serva.
Celkem jsem vzal v úvahu více serv, ale z důvodu dostupnosti, spolehlivosti a ceny
jsem nakonec vybral A2020 a DS 101. A 2010 momentálně není v Evropě k dostání, i když dnes jsem se u nedíval

Ahoj,
Pavle ty graupnery tam nedávej, kolega je použil a odcházej jedno za druhym, měl jich asi 6ks a za jednu sezonu v hale odešli.

Serva tedy dále zvažuji ...
Potažené a obarvené díly cvičně sesazené kvůli polotovarům na budoucí pelech.
Křídla jsou přiložena naopak kvůli pákám křidélek.

Dneska jsem se dostal do haly. Pořád mi to nejde (bomba, týden před soutěží), ale aspoň z toho mám video. Supertrino ale funguje k plný spokojenosti.

Přidávám PDF šablonu pro lepení brzd. S 13" vrtulema mi to přijde akorát, možná by se daly udělat o kousíček menší.

Včera v Holíči se mi se Supertrinem zadařilo.

2. Marek Plichta, Spark (nevím číslo, ale ten nejnovější), zajímavostí byly 16" vrtule Glavak
3. Jan Špatný, Supertrino, 13" Lantsov.

Takže veliká spokojenost. Pomalu se můžu pustit do nějakýho speciálu pro aeromuzikál, nejspíš zkusím odlehčit a nějak hodně soutěžně vybavit Extru od RC Factory. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=78445

Neodlehčená lítá super, ale ostatní piloti děsně tlačí na pilu.
